The purpose of this series is to uncover the cause & effect of the issues that’s been plaguing the HR department in Malaysia. Then, provide a viable solution for said issues. With the abundance of companies that provide gamification solution service, it is hard for one to choose between. Gameka is a company that specializes in mobile app development, and gamification solution, based in Malaysia. Gameka established in 2015 as a startup originally with just 6 people with the office located at Jaya One. Currently, Gameka is at Bangsar South with over 50 employees.

The Level Up Apprentice Program.

Gameka is proud to be supporting the Level Up Apprentice Program. A collaborative effort between KDU University College and the Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation. The objective of the Level Up Apprentice Program is to provide guidance for future Malaysian game makers. Specifically, the program targets fresh grads and final year students.

Additionally, Level UP KL invited Gameka to give a session, titled “Running a Game Co., Gameka: Developing Games that Build”. As per the company’s vision of promoting a long-term Malaysian video games industry. It was the perfect opportunity to pass on valuable knowledge to the next generation of would-be game makers. Casual Connect 2018

Gameka primarily started out as a game development company, some of the games they have developed are “Tap Summoner”, “BolaWay”, and “Kluno: A Kids Dream”. Not to mention “Kluno: Hero Battle” which was nominated for Best Multiplayer Award during the Indieprize awards ceremony at Casual Connect USA 2018. With that in mind, another achievement of Gameka is the signing with an international publisher to have “Kluno: Hero Battle” ported to the Nintendo Switch. All within 3 years since the company’s establishment in 2015.

As a matter of fact, Gameka is one of the 6 finalists out of 61 Malaysian candidates to be handpicked to join this exclusive club. As we can see, in a span of 3 years, Gameka was able to secure multiple achievement and awards that does not come easily. This in itself serves as a proof of credibility and capability of the company within the sea of companies that offer the same services.
